인간이 영원함에 도달하고자 하는 소망은 슬프도록 불가능한 일이다. 이러한 과거의 노력은 거듭되는 시간의 기억속에서 풍화되고 퇴적되길 반복한다. 인간이 만들어낸 가장 거대하고 절대적이었던 그것들은 이제 더이상 그렇지않다.
